An annual event for teens, parents, and the community! Bringing awareness on the importance of family communication and having young people making healthy decisions.  Targeted to High School and Middle School aged kids and issues they face daily. This includes having healthy relationships, awareness on human trafficking through cyber and social media, education on mental health, making right choices concerning risky behaviors and positive stress relief.

We help to make it easier to tackle tough topics!

What is the Youth and Family Summit all about?
 
The Youth And Family Summit is a product of the Youth Development Task Force of Osceola County to support our youth and families in their mental health and development.
 
How old do you have to be to attend?
 
Our registered youth participants must be in middle school or high school.
 
How much does it cost?
 
This event is free to the community however, registration is required at: www.caaire.org for all who are in attendance (parents and children).
 
Will lunch be served?
 
Lunch will be served to all of our registered participants (youth/parents, etc.) at no cost.
 
Where will the event be held?
 
The event will be held at the Kissimmee Civic Center, 201 E Dakin Avenue Kissimmee, FL 34741.
 
Do I need to bring anything?
 
At this time you are not being asked to bring anything with you, except a willingness to learn and engage!

GENERAL RELEASE

In consideration for my and/or my child’s participation in the Youth and Family Summit, for myself and on behalf of my assigns, I do hereby assume all risk of personal or bodily injury, property damage, and any and all loses of any kind from whatever causes, while I am participating in the event. I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE the City of Kissimmee and their respective employees, affiliate organizations, representatives and volunteers, including owners of facilities utilized (hereinafter referred to as “RELEASEES”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by my child, or to any property belonging to me, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or otherwise, while participating in the Youth and Family Summit at the Kissimmee Civic Center or while in, on or upon the premises.

I understand and agree to the General Release. I am a parent/guardian or adult participant.

PUBLICITY RELEASE

I authorize the Osceola County Youth Task Force/CAAIRE, in partnership with the City of Kissimmee to record and photograph my child’s image and/or voice for use in research, educational and promotional programs. I also recognize that these audio, video and image recordings are the property of the Osceola County Youth Task Force/CAAIRE in partnership with the City of Kissimmee and no compensation is due.
