Programs

CAAIRE provides a wide range of developmental and academic opportunities for youth. All program activities are facilitated and developed by experienced, qualified professionals with many years of experience in education, youth development, and non-profit program management.

We believe our children can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Prevention

Equipping students with the learning tools necessary for academic achievement is the primary motivation for CAAIRE and we deliver programs which aid in the betterment of our youth. Saying "Yes" to a life that is free of harmful activities such as alcohol, tobacco and drug use is at the forefront of our interactions with youth. We promote the positive outcomes for youth by encouraging them to utilize their natural abilities and skill sets to obtain higher education, in a form which works well for them so that they will be an asset to any community in which they live.

Personal Development

A child's success is often determined by the level of guidance offered in a supportive, caring environment. Self-esteem and self-actualization are pivotal to their success and having an engaged mentor to provide support can mean the difference between a child reaching their goals or failing. When the issues are more challenging, counseling provides the additional safety net that any child with emotional hurdles, family issues, issues with peer relations, or lack of self awareness and guidance needs to navigate the pitfalls of growing up in a society of expectations and pressure.

Community Involvement

CAAIRE participants are involved in community projects that elicits an understanding of the concept of giving back to one's community and how that can contribute to making our communities a better place for all. It is an opportunity that all CAAIRE students are provided as a means of learning more about themselves and how they relate to the world in which they live.

Excited Children in Science Class

CAAIRE for STEM powered by NSBE

CAAIRE has partnered with UCF National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to provide STEM workshops to underserved areas. The goal of our program is to ignite a desire for (minority) students to join STEM and understand the resources available. Our workshops are fun and engaging which allows our students to remain excited not only when they see our staff members, but when they are at home. This keeps our students engaged and motivated to learn about potential careers in STEM.
