About
CAAIRE was founded as an outreach to artistic and athletic young men and women in grades 6-12 in order to provide them with an opportunity to expand their experiences towards improved academic and personal development outcomes; creating a framework for future education and career success.
The core components of mentoring and academic coaching provide the foundation upon which our team of experienced professionals in education and youth development guide participating youth towards self-exploration and understanding their role in positively impacting their lives, the lives of their family and their community. We are founded upon the goal of addressing the "total youth" and creating young people who have developed a healthy self-image and perspective on their world and their potential for success as future college students and adults.
Critical to the success of CAAIRE and its participants, is the partnerships developed with other community agencies and institutions focused on learning and youth development that provide growth opportunities for students involved in our program. CAAIRE participants are youth who are engaged, aware, motivated, and seeking greater success in their lives. Identifying these talented youth is made possible through community contacts and referrals from school counselors, teachers, clergy, and other community leaders based upon identified leadership potential and character standards befitting a CAAIRE participant.
We believe our children can embrace who they are,
define their future and change the world.
Our Mission
That youth involved in sports and the arts will utilize their athletic and artistic abilities, in conjunction with academic, life, and career skills developed through CAAIRE, to create opportunities that reduce academic and financial barriers to receiving an education.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 we have expanded our Mission to provide healthy Food/Nutrition support for all community members in the Central Florida area.
We know that our youth and their families are unable to gain higher education when their most immediate needs are not being met – most specifically access to nutritious food and meals. As such, we have partnered with other nonprofits and agencies like the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to provide food for hundreds of members and families in our Central Florida community.
Our Vision
Through collaboration with volunteers and the local community, CAAIRE is able to enrich the lives of Central Florida adolescents by supporting every student’s multidimensional needs, transforming youth through personal development, recreational, and wellness programs, and encouraging students to pursue higher education and lead productive adulthoods.
CAAIRE for students, CAAIRE for the future.
